Conduit has taken everything away from the Man of Steel. He's taken his family, his love, his city and his mission. Now he wants to take Superman's life. But, like anyone who is backed into a corner, the Last Son of Krypton is about to show his adversary why he is the greatest superhero of them all.

Grief...

In the previous issue, Conduit a.k.a. Kenny Braverman had tried every possible means to bring out Superman out of Clark Kent, even destroyed the Kent Farmhouse. He had almost succeeded, in the end Superman himself saying that "for all intents and purposes, Clark Kent and the entire Kent family are dead from this day on!"

But the threat to Kal-El's loved ones isn't over. Still, Superman is determined to turn the tide of battle back to Conduit!

Notes:

  • Clark Kent used the name Wayne Jordan when he applied for a job. Wayne was from Bruce Wayne and Jordan from Hal Jordan.
  • First $1.95 issue.
  • New paper and color format introduced. The issue is heavier and the pages glossier.
  • Triangle 1995 #22.
  • Chronological continuation from Superman: The Man of Steel #45.
  • Chronological continuation in Adventures of Superman #524.
